Acute Heptagram

Handcrafted Journal measures 4.25x5.75inch / 11.5x15cm. The central design is an embroidered seven pointed star (an acute heptagram) surrounded by a clay fired circle inscribed with the planetary signs. Acrylic painted canvas cover book is secured with a crochet closure, fit with a carved Hawthorne wooden dowel - pyrographed with seals and sigils of the classical planets. At the bottom of the back cover is a makers stamp, in the style of an old personal emblem stamped in sealing wax. Inside is 192 pages, counted front and back, of 60text/89gsm archival parchment paper which takes all dry media. The electricity used to manufacture this paper was offset with renewable wind power.
